Topography of Memories
The series "Topography of Memories" explores inner landscapes between memory, change and imagination - as poetic fragments of a larger spiritual journey
In my work, I embark on a search for the inner landscapes of human existence – those fleeting spaces between memory, imagination, and transformation. The series sees itself as a visual journey through emotional transitions and personal experiences that echo in memories.
I deliberately forgo objective clarity in favor of a poetic abstraction that allows space for the fragmentary, the unspoken, and intuitive perception. Colors and lines develop in an open process, almost like memories that cannot be told linearly but emerge emotionally. In doing so, painting becomes a meditative act for me – an approximation of what cannot be grasped linguistically.
Every picture is an invitation: to remember, to dream, to let go, or to start anew.
Every work is a state—not a finished picture, but a moment in flux. My aim is not to provide answers, but to make inner movements visible. The titles open up associative paths without fixing the image. They are invitations: to remember, to dream, to let go, or to begin anew.
The vision for this series is to create a sequence of images that does not explain, but accompanies—through inner seasons, through turning points, through paths in search of oneself.
